With spring in Jacksonville comes the return of The Jazz Festival, as it seeks to continue establishing itself as a yearly tradition in the community.
This year’s Jazz Festival is being presented by AARP Real Possibilities. Guests will enjoy some cutting-edge sounds from the genre and a number of events taking place across three stages. No doubt the organizers have used poster printing to enlighten people in this community and attract local jazz fans.
The stages will be located in three different locations, and will feature a number of renowned festival musicians and groups, including Akia Uwanda, Unique Sound, the Noel Freidline Quintet, and the Katz Downstairs.
Each evening, after the last act leaves the stage, guest are invited to enjoy more live jazz at some of the participating clubs that can be found just a few blocks away the festival’s stages. Admission to these venues is free to everyone, as is entrance to the festival itself.
The Jacksonville Jazz Festival will be happening on Friday, May 23, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Saturday, May 24, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Sunday, May 25, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 117 West Duval Street.
