Many Jacksonville runners will be spending their 4th of July morning running the Eagle 5k, 10k or the 13.l-mile race.
All registration must be done online through RunSignup. Registration for the 5k will be $30 for adults. Registration for the 10 k will be $45 and $65 for those registering for the 13.1-mile race. All race registration will be $5 for children between the ages of 1 and 15. There will not be any onsite registration on race day.
Race packets will be available at the race site on race day from 7:30 am to 7:50 am.
Fruit, granola bars, gummy snacks and water will be available at the starting line and will be available to runners at the end of each lap and after the race.
The course will be an out-and-back with the 5k runners running it twice and the 10k runner running it four times. The 13.1-mile race will also be an out-and-back but will be run six times. The course will be 50% shaded on concrete and asphalt surfaces and will begin next to the skatepark.
Eagle-themed medals will go to the finishers.
The Eagle 5k, 10k and Half Marathon will take place at 11751 McCormick Road July 4th with the start beginning at 8:00 am. Walkers will be welcome.
Races like this often have paper products such as mile markers and race bibs printed at nearby Print shops.
