Jacksonville calls all bibliophiles

JAX Urban Book Festival will be returning to Jacksonville at the end of January.

The 3rd annual festival, part of Jacksonville's DREAMWEEK JAX celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King's vision of community, has been created to celebrate the literary community, storytelling, and imagination through Books and those who created them.

Authors from all over the U.S. will be meeting attendees, doing book signings, and conducting masterclass sessions for those looking for ways to get their works published. A curated marketplace will feature nationally recognized and independent authors, literary organizations and publishers showcasing their specialties. Local book clubs, nonprofits and cultural collectives will be highlighting their programs, initiatives, and missions. The event will be one huge bookstore with something for everybody.

There will be activities for children, and each child will receive a free book. A silent auction will benefit DREAMWEEK INC.

Many attendees - both guests and exhibitors - will bring Business Cards and use events like this as a networking opportunity.

Sponsorships range from $250 to $500 for marketing sponsors, $750 to $5000 for specific sponsorships such as Keynote, Networking night, Publishing and Meal sponsors, and $500 to $10,000 for Exhibitors.

The JAX Urban Book Festival will take place from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday, January 24th at downtown Jacksonville's James Weldon Johnson Park, 135 West Monroe Street. Admission will be free.
