Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts has slated five programs for June.
On June 5th and 6th beginning at 7:30 pm, the Jacksonville Symphony will present its last concert for the season, Rachmaninoff's Third. Under the baton of Courtney Lewis, the orchestra will perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No 3.
The program will begin with Carlos Simon's Fate Now Conquers, and that will be followed by Arnold Schoenberg's Transfigured Night. The evening will end with Sergei Rachmaninoff's most passionate, demanding, and intricate work, his Piano Concerto No. 3 played by George LI. The performance will be in Jacoby Hall.

The Moran Theater will present Scott Jones Dance Recital on Saturday, June 6th beginning at 7:00 pm.
On Sunday, June 7th at 2:30 pm, and 6:15 pm, The Center's Moran Theater will present tap, jazz, ballet, character performances and contemporary dance performances of Alice and her Wonderland Friends. The performers will be students of Nancy Dance Studio. Nancy Dance will also feature a recital showcase on June 9th at 6:00 pm.
Beauty and the Beast will be performed by the Barbara Thompson School of Dance on Wednesday, June 10th and Thursday, June 11th at 6:30 pm.
The World of Dance and Talent will hold its showcase at the Moran on Saturday, June 13th at 6:30 pm.
