In about a month’s time, locals will be able to visit downtown Jacksonville for its annual Jaxtoberfest.
The event will kick off with a keg-tapping ceremony. After that, attendees may want to check out the Kinderfest, where there will be family-friendly activities such as pumpkin painting, games, and crafts. Children can also get their faces painted or jump in the inflatables.
The Jaxtoberfest will have traditional German food such as bratwurst and pretzels, along with food trucks and typical festival food. Vendors at the festival likely invested in digital Business Cards to give to customers at the event.
Each evening, there will be a lineup of live entertainment such as German tunes and polka music, along with local bands. Attendees can play oversized games such as Jenga and Connect Four. There will also be a Brat Eating Competition, the Safe Slam Drinking Contest, and a Stein Holding Competition with both male and female divisions. Guests can also enjoy the Weiner dog races or a three-legged race.
General admission costs $8, although guests ages 12 and under are free. A two-day pass costs $12. VIP admission costs $40 and includes a beer stein and access to the VIP tent. A two-day VIP pass costs $60.
Jaxtoberfest will be held on October 9 from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm, and October 10 from noon until 11:00 pm. It all takes place at The St. John’s Town Center, located at 4663 River City Drive.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
