Jacksonville sees in 2023 with parties and fireworks

Many Jacksonville revelers will be celebrating the new year with a variety of offerings.

The traditional way is at the Casa Marina’s 17th Annual New Year’s Eve Party, including watching the Downtown Fireworks Extravaganza at midnight. If they prefer, they can just celebrate until 7:00 pm at Early Bird New Year's Eve.

Downtown Jacksonville’s Ruby Beach Brewing Company, 228 E Forsyth St., will be hosting its Annual New Year's Eve Party, with Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant the caterer. The venue will feature entertainment in its indoor taproom, outdoor patio, and its second-floor event space. There will be a champagne toast at midnight. General admission will be $100.

The Casa Marina's Annual New Year’s Eve Party will begin Saturday, December 31st at 7:30 pm and end at 2:00 am. At midnight, high above the St. Johns River, fireworks will light up the night from the Acosta Bridge and from a barge moored in the river.

For those looking to start and finish earlier, Legacy Ale Works, 14965 Old St. Augustine Road, will hold an Early Bird New Year’s Eve starting at 3:00 pm. This family-oriented event will offer dancing and games for the children, while MagnetiX DJ Services will provide the music. At 6:00 pm, revelers will go into the courtyard for the countdown, with sparkling drinks the for the little ones and champagne for the adults.
