The 2019 Your Helping Hand Golf Tournament will take place in mid-February.
Each of the 18 holes will be sponsored by local businesses. Sponsors will also be handing out Promotional Products and other souvenirs at the event table.
The event will be a fundraiser for the Your Helping Hand Charity, which provides food, clothing and mentoring to students, educators, and those in need. This year the organization’s aim is to purchase run-down properties around local schools, renovate them and rent them as low-cost housing to new educators until they can own their own homes.
Guests will want to remember to bring their Business Cards with them to network before and after the dinner. An awards ceremony will follow it.
A silent auction will also be part of the event’s activities. This is taking place online and includes items such as family portrait sessions, art work, and four- and six-night Ezulwini S African Safari packages.
The single golfer fee will be $140, while doubles team will pay $260 and foursomes will be $500.
The YHH Golf Tournament will be at the Deercreek Country Club, 7819 Lauren Road North on February 16 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm and guests are advised to arrive half an hour early to start networking. There will be a clothing requirement, including sleeved, collared shirts.
