Locals are in for a Halloween treat, as the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens prepares to host a special event called ‘Spooktacular, Bippity Boppity Zoo’.
Along with being able to visit candy stations around the zoo, attendees can enjoy jack-o-lanterns, Halloween music, and a special menu at the zoo’s restaurants. Kids can also play on several inflatables.
During the event, there will be themed areas such as ‘Peter Pan’s Neverland’, Charlie Brown’s Great Pumpkin Patch’ and ‘The Wizard of Oz’. There will also be several ‘scare zones’ like ‘Land of the Zombies’.
This event is family friendly, but some of the scare zones are not recommended for those who get frightened easily. In addition, during the event, only some of the animal exhibits will be open.
Tickets cost $8 for members and $10 for nonmembers. Those who purchase tickets online can save $1. Group rates are also available.
It is likely the zoo will be selling promotional Drinkware during this event. Seasonal branded Tumblers, water bottles, and glasses are some items the gift shop may offer.
The zoo will get spooky from October 16 through 18, October 23through 25, and October 28 through 31. The event will go from 6:30 pm until 10:00 pm. The zoo gates will close at 9:00 pm.
The Jacksonville Zoo is located on 370 Zoo Parkway. For more information, call (904) 757-4463.Get a Free Quote for Tumblers Get a Free Quote for Drinkware
