Springing the Blues will be coming to Jacksonville early in April. The three-day outdoor event will have local regional and national blues artists performing on two stages.
The Main Stage and the Blues Lounge Stage will each have four bands on the first night, seven on the second, and six on the last evening. Some artists on the Main Stage will be Larkin Poe, The Eric Gales Band, Sugaray Rayford, Heather Gillis Band, Shane Dwight, and Victor Wainwright. The Blues Lounge Stage will have the Parker Urban Trio, Smokestack, The Corbitt Brothers Band, and the Tommy Z. Band.
The Food Court will be replete with all kinds of seafood and food specialties, and little ones can enjoy the Kids’ Area.
An ‘After Fest’ party will be held on Friday and Saturday nights, which will rock with a jam session with festival artists.
This will be David Lee’s 16th year for creating the graphic design for the event poster. The poster can be purchased onsite at the merchandise tent.
An artisan marketplace will have vendors selling everything from jewelry and art, to accessories and clothing. Local businesses will be there too, selling their wares and distributing Promotional Products, Business Cards, and discount coupons.
Springing the Blues Music Festival is slated for April 6, from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm, April 7 from noon until 10:00 pm, and April 8 from noon until 8:00 pm at Jacksonville Beach’s Sea Walk Pavilion, 75 North 1st Street.
