Berry Good Farms hosts three events over one weekend

Berry Good Farms will hold its annual Berry Good Farms Weekend Festival in early April. This event will be a fundraiser for the North Florida School of Special Education.

The first evening, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, will be the Farm to Family event. This will be a Fish Fry with ingredients garnered from the farm. Fiesta cuisine will be offered by Panera Bread and Si Senor Fresh Mex. Entertainment will be a petting zoo, games, dancing and live music.

On the Saturday, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, the theme will be “Farm to Tap.” The afternoon will be a food and beverage pairing. More than 24 Jacksonville breweries and celebrity chefs will concoct an assortment of tasty tidbits that will be paired with locally produced craft beers. This event will also have entertainment and live music.

Sunday will be Dinner on the Farm. A dinner will be served outdoors and the food will be prepared by Restaurant Orsay, Black Sheep Restaurant, and Berry Good Farm’s culinary team under the direction of the farm’s Chef Brett Swearingen. Cocktails will be served at 4:00 pm, dinner seating will begin at 5:00 pm, and the dinner will be served starting at 6:00 pm.

Patrons of programs such as these often get flyer printing done to put up items around their neighborhoods, workplaces, and clubs.

Festival weekend will take place on the NFSSE Campus, 223 Mill Creek Road, April 3 through 5. It is advisable to check nearer the time that the event will be taking place.
