AT&T recently announced that it has 500 open positions in Florida, with 225 of them from Key West to Vero Beach.
More than half of the 225 positions are newly created ones. The jobs are bilingual customer support specialists, bilingual sales consultants, consumer sales consultants, and bilingual customer service representatives. No doubt digital business card printing will be very much sought after once all the positions are filled.
There are 75 positions open for assistant managers and managers and retails sales consultants in stores throughout South Florida, including Hollywood, North Miami, Miami Beach and Miami Gardens, and Fort Lauderdale. Close to 150 of these jobs will be call center positions, located in the Miami and Sunrise call centers.
Joe York, Florida President for AT&T, said in a press release that the company is continuing to invest in Florida in its networks and to ensure job growth so that customers will have a positive experience with AT&T, whether it is in a retail store, on their mobile device, or on the phone with a customer representative from AT&T. He added that the heart of the company’s business is its customers, and these jobs are part of showing how the company committed to them.
New employees will be in plenty of company, as there are more than 15,000 people currently employed by AT&T throughout Florida.
