Hollywood to celebrate jazz holiday with crafting event

Craftopia will host an event in Hollywood where people can create custom art pieces from old vinyl records.

Those who want to celebrate International Jazz Day can participate in a group art project with Craftopia. Attendees will receive an old record to use as the base of their painting. The event will have a jazz-inspired atmosphere, and guests will get to connect with other artists around themed tables. There is no experience needed for people to paint the records, and participants will be able to bring their completed paintings home after the event.

Craftopia is a company that hosts art-related events at venues throughout several Florida cities, including Sunny Isles Beach, Bay Harbor Islands, and North Miami Beach. The group has organized art projects like the Succulent Garden Bowl Workshop and Hamsa Making Workshop. Craftopia has also held beachside painting events and art exhibitions. People can pay for private classes on subjects such as cake painting, flower arranging, and making custom napkin rings.

The jazz-themed crafting project will take place on Thursday, April 30 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Tickets to the course will cost $54.13 per person. Craftopia will hold the event at 120 S. 20th Ave in Hollywood. Art organizations that coordinate group crafting sessions like this can use flyer printing to get more artists interested in attending their events.
