Run to celebrate American and Ukrainian freedom in Hollywood

The Razom Freedom Run 5K will return to the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk in August to celebrate American and Ukrainian independence.

A friendly competitive event, the Razom Freedom Run 5K was founded by Nelya Neporadna, a professional runner from Ukraine. There will be many cultural activities at the race for families to enjoy, such as folk dance showcases and an exhibition for traditional embroidery. People can also listen to live music performances and try authentic Ukrainian dishes. All competitors in the 5K will receive a finisher medal and a themed T-shirt.

The official timing partner for the community race will be Razom Run Timing, a business that uses RACE RESULT active technology to track finishers accurately. The company also helps race organizers by offering services such as course planning, budget management, and setting up sound systems. Razom Run Timing can also create racing bibs for athletic events. The organization has been involved in several events, such as the Vyshyvanka Day 5K.

The freedom run will be held on Sunday, August 23rd at Charnow Park. Those interested in the 5K can pay $45 to enter the race. There will also be a kids-only event that children can enter for $25. Packets may be picked up on the day of the race at 5:00 am, and the 5K will be at 7:00 am. Organizations can share event details about their races by using flyer printing services.
