JetBlue Airways recently announced that it will be offering nonstop flights between the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Syracuse Hancock International Airport as part of its seasonal plans.
This service will begin on January 13, 2016 with one round trip every day until May 1, 2016. A one-way fare will be will be $79 for anyone who Books a flight during that period of time.
An EMBRAER 190 aircraft will be used for the service, which has two-by-two seating and more than ample leg room. In addition, there will be complimentary free snacks and other refreshments, as well as DIRECTV channels and satellite radio service from Sirius at no charge.
JetBlue has other plans to increase the number of daily flights to 95 at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, which is an important hub for the airline’s flights to cities in Latin America.
In addition, starting December 1 this year, JetBlue will be a second charter flight service from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York to Havana every Tuesday. Reuters News Service indicates that increasing the number of flights JetBlue can provide, along with its low fares, will increase the number of options for customers while building revenue for the company.
JetBlue will most likely turn to various marketing services to make travelers aware of the new flights, and to promote them to both leisure and business travelers.
