The Native Learning Center in Hollywood will be giving a virtual lesson in July on the processes involved with purchasing homes.
Prepare Yourself for Home Buying is part of the Virtual Training series offered by the Native Learning Center. The course serves as a guide for new homebuyers and will cover essential topics such as financial wellness, the significance of healthy spending habits, and the closing process of purchasing a home. The lesson will also go over the typical timeline for buying houses and reviews the requirements involved with the process.
The webinar will be presented by Krystal Cedeno, a training and development manager who joined the Native Learning Center in 2017. Cedeno has over five years of experience in customer service and is certified as a Building Native Communities Trainer. Past companies she has worked for include Claire’s Accessories, W Shoe, and Beya. Professionals similar to Cedeno can use Business Cards to connect with potential clientele.
The virtual training program will be held on Thursday, July 28 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The free course is available to Native Americans and anyone who works within Indian Country. Attendees can register for Cedeno’s home buying webinar in advance. The learning center will also be offering a Tribal Housing Leadership Bootcamp in June for those interested in improving their leadership strategies.
