Hollywood to host paddleball and racquetball tourney

R2Sports will be holding two competitions in March at the Hollywood Beach Garfield Paddleball Courts.

The 2023 Beach Bash is a fun and competitive event where people can show their skills in singles and doubles matches. The surface type of the courts and wall materials are concrete, and the competition will be held outdoors. The directors for the event will be Peggine Tellez and Jen Omeara. The official photographer of the bash is Belinda Dettman. Each player who registers for the tournament will get entered into the event’s prize drawings.

The event has a few rules to ensure all participants have a good experience during the tourney. Local paddleball and racquetball players are asked to limit themselves to playing in two divisions to save room for people who came from out of Florida. Those playing on teams must find and register their partners in advance, as they will not be allowed to find someone to play with on the day of the event. Only members of World Outdoor Racquetball can join the event.

The competition will be held from March 8 to 12. The cost to play in the professional paddleball division is $50, and the price to enter lower divisions is $30. People can become a member of World Outdoor Racquetball for $18.50 per year. Companies in charge of outdoor sporting events such as this can order displays with banner printing that help promote the contests to others.
