Hollywood to host annual neurosurgical society meeting

Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood will be hosting the 72nd Southern Neurosurgical Society (SNS) Annual Meeting in February.

The SNS Annual Meeting is a conference where society members can gather and network while learning about industry-related topics. The theme for the program explores what it means to be a Southern neurosurgeon. Activities at the seminar include a family night BBQ and whiskey tastings. Both members and non-members of the SNS are invited to submit abstracts to present during the meeting for categories such as spine, tumor, and pediatric.

The conference is organized by BroadWater, a business that manages medical meetings, associations, and webinars for orthopedic and neurological surgeons. The company has been helping the medical community for nearly 30 years. Jeremy Longhurst is the current CEO of BroadWater, and Kate Laney is the vice president. A few meetings created by the organization include the International Spinal Deformity Symposium and the International Children’s Spine Symposium.

The SNS Annual Meeting will be held from February 16 to 19 and will cost $600 for members. Non-members may attend for $725. Adult guests can be brought to the program for $325. Registration for the conference will include program Books, breakfast, and access to the event’s opening reception and final banquet.
