A non-profit organization in Florida will be starting the year with a showcase of the nation’s most impressive orchids.
This event is one of the biggest and best judged orchid displays in the nation, and it is hosted by the Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society. Exotic orchids, stunning exhibits, and related merchandise are all on display. Free education sessions will also be offered to support the growth of orchids.
Many orchidophiles, expert growers, hobbyists, and hybridizers from around the world will be present at what is expected to be a well-attended expo. Artfully created exhibits with the subject "Orchid Renaissance" will be produced by vendors.
Books, instructional resources, orchid supplies, and orchid gift items will also be for sale. Members of the orchid organization will be available to answer any questions attendees may have about the plant, and attendees will be given a collectible event program full of orchid information. Brochure printing is one way to produce a program for an event like this.
In addition to displays from regional orchid groups, individual plant submissions will be on show. Plants and displays will be assessed by American Orchid Society judges, who will also give out cash prizes.
The Orchid Renaissance 65th Annual Orchid Show and Sale will be during the January 10 to 12 weekend at the Great Hall at Charles F. Dodge City Center in Hollywood.
