A fun event is coming up near Doral that will allow people to get a jump on their holiday shopping.
For the 12th year, people are invited to attend the Sneaker Swap to trade, sell, or buy used or new sneakers, vintage clothing, and hype their own art or clothing. Sneaker Swap is run by “Sneaker Heads,” on behalf of people who collect sneakers. Many members of this sub-culture rarely if ever wear the shoes, but simply maintain a collection. Other have special sneakers they save for important occasions.
The upcoming swap will be held before Black Friday and will feature raffles, live auctions, a black light section, a legit check station, a trading pit, and free giveaways. Organizers say they will make certain everyone who comes to the Swap will get loads of good deals, and have a lot of fun. The event is open to everyone, and they are invited to shop, network, and enjoy hip-hop vibes.
Sneaker Swap XII will be on Sunday, November 20, from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the Miami Airport & Convention Center on Northwest 72nd Avenue, less than five miles from downtown Doral. Refunds are available until 30 days prior to Sneaker Swap. The area will be monitored by security. When events like this are planned, organizers can use flyer printing to create handouts to advertise the sale in the area.
