An annual event returning to Doral will give participants a chance to enjoy the outdoors.
The Doral 5K Run/Walk 2026 takes participants on a 3.1-mile route through the city’s downtown, where complimentary water will be available. The run is a community event that is appropriate for everyone. It is also a fundraiser, and part of the proceeds go to support the Parks & Police 4 Kids Foundation.
A new rule has been put in place this year, and runners will be required to pick up their own packets, with the locations of the pickups announced closer to race day. Packets include bib buttons and a race bib, and T-Shirts will be available during the pickup, while supplies last. Events like this benefit when organizers work with banner printing to create course markers.
The 2026 run/walk is scheduled for September 26, from 7.00 am until 10.00 am. Fees are $35.00 for adults and $30.00 for children through September 25, and $50.00 for adults and $40.00 for children on race day. Packet pickup is from 10.00 am until 7.00 pm on September 23 and 24.
Also, “children” are identified as people 12 years of age and younger. There are no transfers or refunds allowed, and a service fee is applied to registrations.
