Norwich Dade Hotel Group LLC has expressed the intention of opening a Marriott hotel, while the management of Grapeland Hospitality Group has revealed that it would like to open a Staybridge Suites in the vicinity of Miami International Airport.
Either developer could make use of Stationery printers in Doral if their projects are realized, but at present, the planning applications in question have not been given approval.
While the Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources Development Services has been examining the details of the proposals, the construction of the Miami Worldcenter Hotel & Expo Center should be getting underway soon. The Vice President of the MDM Group, Joseph Hearndon, has said:
“The Marriott Marquis Miami Worldcenter Hotel & Expo Center is a true game-changer for this region.”
The World Center development is considerably larger than the hotels proposed by the new initiatives. It will feature 1,800 rooms when it is completed, whereas the proposed developments aim to include fewer than 500 rooms between them.
The proposed developments have been designed by a number of different architects. Nichols, Brosch, Wurst, Wolfe & Associates worked on the Marriott proposal, which could be located near Dadeland Mall, while Architect J.
