A food festival will hold its inaugural event this weekend.
Tripping Animals & Gorilla City’s First Annual Doral Food and Beer Festival, entitled “Skip the Line,” is on the schedule and will be held at Tripping Animals Brewery in Doral. The festival will highlight the work of some of the best chefs in Miami and the local area.
Participating chefs include culinary superstars, winners of awards from Food and Wine fests, and the most innovative newcomers. The festival allows guests to eat and drink as much as they like, and is an open forum concept. All the chefs will have prepared samples, and attendees can take as many as they like and enjoy the food while they also sample local craft beers.
Additional chefs are being added to the list of participants. Chefs who have confirmed their involvement thus far include Chef Julian Uribe of Gorilla City Meats and Sandwiches; Chef Giovanni Fesser of Pastelito Papi; and Chef Victoriano Hernandez from Haochi. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, listing participating chefs and brewers.
Tripping Animals Brewing Company is on NW 105th Avenue, and the festival is set for Sunday, September 5, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Tickets include admission and unlimited samples of beer and food. General admission tickets are $125.
