A special celebration is coming up in Doral.
A Galentine’s Gathering has been scheduled to bring friends together for a special Wine Club Dinner. Although the event is called a “Galentine” dinner, it could just as easily be referred to as a “Palentine” evening, since the dinner is not restricted to women, and instead is designed for people to celebrate their friendships. The evening offers a three-course dinner with wines paired to match the food being served.
The menu starts with a chocolate covered raspberry cocktail to greet the guests, with pretzel bread to snack on. The first course is a salad of baby greens and candied walnuts, Night Jar reduction, gala apple, and topped with camembert cheese baked in kataifi (Middle Eastern shredded pastry). The salad will be paired with a rosé wine.
The main course is a burrata ravioli with shrimp and lobster, served with sauteed spinach, topped with parmesan and tarragon lobster cream. The wines served will be either a pinot noir or a viognier.
The elegant dessert is a Triple Chocolate French Gateau Cosmopolitan Cream, served with a strawberry dipped in white chocolate, berry dust, and a raspberry macaron. This course will be served with a raspberry sparkling wine.
The dinner is scheduled for February 15 at 7:00 pm, at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant. Tickets are $69, which includes gratuity and tax. The event is for those 21 and older only and is an opportunity for like-minded people to exchange Business Cards.
