An upcoming event is designed to help Doral families get ready for the upcoming school year.
The Kiddos 2023 Back to School & 10th Anniversary Event is a day full of entertainment and activities that are suitable for students, their parents, and people of all ages. Among the planned attractions are raffles, music, goodie Bags, food, a balloon contest, and a hula hoop contest.
In addition, Backpacks will be given away for free, and people will have a chance to meet-and-greet characters. There will be live performances, storytelling, a reading corner, a toddler zone, a magician, a demonstration of healthy snacks, face painting, arts and crafts, and even more.
Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is one of the sponsors of the event, and will be presenting its Dental Health Station. The Dade County Federal Credit Union is the co-sponsor of the event, and will be featuring an arts and crafts station called Saving is Fun.
Baptist Health will discuss healthy snacks in a demonstration on stage that features “Energy-Boosting Power Bites.” A fashion show is also planned, and organizers say people must see it in person.
The fun is set for August 5, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the Fountain Plaza at CityPlace Doral. The celebration is open to the public and there is no admission charge. When an event like this is planned, organizers can use flyer printing to create handouts listing the available activities.
