Doral patches up an enjoyable night

A fundraising gala is being held this October to benefit PATCHES, a pediatric nursing center for youngsters with complex medical conditions.

The Wild for Patches gala will take place at Trump National Doral and will be hosted by Ron Magill, an expert wildlife photographer who is also ZOO Miami’s Communications and Media Director.

The gala is being held to raise money for the nursing center’s future growth and development. It will also be an occasion to pay tribute to three individuals: Levy & Associates President Bob Levy, Homestead Hospital CEO Bill Duquette, and Mayor of Pinecrest Cindy Lerner.

PATCHES provides a service to parents of children with complex medical conditions. Skilled nursing care, as well as therapy, is available 12 hours a day, five days a week. The services of the center are available to any family regardless of ability to pay.

Community Liaison for PATCHES, Sharon Fields, says that the center needs more space to operate, which hopefully the proceeds from the gala will help address.

A poster printing service is invaluable in situations such as this one. Not only can it promote the fundraiser, but the services provided by the organization as well.

The gala features a cocktail reception that starts at 7:00 pm and is followed by a silent auction, dinner at 8:00 pm, and then dancing. Taking place this Saturday, October 25, the address for the venue is 4400 NW 87 Ave.
