An event in Doral will bring the beauty of music to the Miami suburb as part of the city’s anniversary celebration.
Doral will be 20 years old in 2023, and is celebrating in various ways, including making it possible for residents to enjoy a concert by the Miami Symphony Orchestra. “MISO at the Park” is a free concert and everyone is invited to bring a picnic, lawn chair, or blanket and settle back to enjoy the music. The event is family friendly, and all are welcome. Those who would rather do so may purchase food and beverages from food trucks.
The late Maestro Manuel Ochoa founded the Miami Symphony Orchestra in 1989, bringing together 80 musicians from the city’s diverse population. The orchestra is headquartered in the Miami Design District, and holds its regular concerts from October to April in the Adrienne Arsht Center-Knight Concert Hall. The orchestra also sometimes plays in public parks throughout the city.
In addition to concerts, the orchestra holds arts and educational programs for young people at its headquarters, and provides no cost or low-cost tickets to veterans, active duty military personnel, first responders, senior citizens, and students from the area. The current Conductor and Music Director is Eduardo Marturet
The concert is scheduled for March 25, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, in Downtown Doral Park. When outdoor events like this are planned, organizers can use banner printing to create decorations that enhance the venue and celebrate the occasion.
