Doral is getting ready for the festive season with events suitable for the whole family.
The first occasion is the Tree Lighting and Movie Night, which will be held at the City of Doral Government Center. Santa Claus himself will be the guest of honor at the tree lighting, with attendees encouraged to wear their best holiday pajamas to the party. The tree is on the lawn, which is also where the film “The Polar Express” will be shown after the tree is lit. Parking and admission are free, but tickets are required for those who would like to have a photo taken with Mr. Claus.
Next on the schedule is the “Light Up the Night” event, which also takes place at the government center. This evening the menorah will be lit, and a ceremony will recognize the work done by the community’s first responders. After the ceremony, light bites will be served, and people will be able to take part in raffles.
Next up is the Holiday Celebration at the Park, which takes place at Doral Meadow Park. Live performances and inflatables are planned.
The Tree Lighting and Movie Night is scheduled for December 1 starting at 6:00 pm. “Light Up the Night” takes place the following evening, December 2, at 6:00 pm, and the Holiday Celebration at the Park is December 10 at 6:00 pm. Banner printing can be used to create a series of holiday flags to decorate the venue.
