An upcoming event in Doral will give attendees a chance to enjoy a trip to Spain without leaving the country.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is the organizer of the upcoming Tapas y Vinos: A Taste of Spain - Wine Club Pairing Dinner. The dinner is one that might be found in Barcelona, comprising a series of tapas paired with wines. Tapas are small plates of a variety of dishes meant for sharing, encouraging interaction with others at the dinner.
The menu for the event begins with Blood Orange Pineapple Bubbly Sangria, along with Pretzel Bread. After that comes a Tapas Trio of shaved Serrano ham, a croquette made with goat cheese, and pan con tomate (tomato bread). The wine for this course is Abrilliante, which is the restaurant’s Wine of the Month.
Next up is the main dish, a seafood paella with spring peas and roasted red peppers, paired with a red sangria. The dessert course is a Basque Cheesecake Marcona Almond Cream, served with dried grapes marinated in sherry-honey. An almond sparkling wine will be served with the dessert.
