An Italian superstar will be sharing his talent with people in the Doral area soon.
Andrea Bocelli is a classically trained singer who has also made his mark in popular music. Bocelli, who is from a small Tuscan village, was 14 when he won his first singing competition, which was the first of many awards he has earned. He has two Billboard Latin Music Awards to his credit, along with seven World Music Awards, and five Grammy nominations.
On tour, he treats his audiences to both lush renditions of popular songs, Italian classics such as “Funiculi Funicula,” and arias from operas like “Lucia di Lammermoor” by Donizetti, “La Traviata” by Verdi, and “Tosca” by Puccini. One of his albums is dedicated to the works of Giuseppe Verdi.
Bocelli has toured extensively and given recitals around the world, appearing at venues as varied as the Metropolitan Opera and the Vatican. He released “Si,” his 16th album, in 2018, which featured vocals by pop star Ed Sheeran, as well as duets sung by Bocelli and his son Matteo. The album debuted at No. 1 in both the UK and the US, and was his first release in 14 years, and comprised all-new material.
Bocelli will be in Miami, a quick trip from Doral, on December 20 at 7:30 pm, at the American Airlines Arena. Poster printing is frequently used to create publicity for events such as this.
