EJS Project, which helps teens build their self-esteem and obtain resources they need for success, will soon hold its 2nd annual block party, which is one of the largest fundraisers for the organization. The event will be held in Delray Beach.
Facing challenges as he was growing up, founder Emmanuel ‘Dupree’ Jackson Jr. is excited about the event this year and hopes to raise $15,000 to help support the project. Since it was created last year, the organization has lent its support to approximately 100 students mostly between the ages of 12 and 19.
The event will have entertainment, including step team dancers and a drum line. There will be games, bounce houses, and a dunk tank as well. Attendees will be treated to free food while they mingle with the organizations founder, staff, and volunteers who all contribute to making the project successful.
Print shops can provide brochure printing and flyer printing services for events such as this to educate the public on an organizations mission and provide information on how they can either benefit from the organization or help support and grow the project.
With a mission to build and empower tomorrow’s leaders and a strong commitment to its core values, EJS Project is reaching out for support and volunteers to keep its programs going.
The Block Party will be held on Saturday, May 18 at the project’s headquarters located at 700 W. Atlantic Ave. from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There is no charge to attend this public event.
