After a year of planning, developers will soon break ground on the Delray City Market which is a unique closed concept emporium in Delray Beach that will house several eateries for those who desire to try a variety of cuisines. The project, which is being led by Menin Development, is expected to break ground at the end of July.
The building will be constructed with 35,000 square feet which will hold approximately 30 vendors. The structure will also feature a parking garage with just over 200 spaces available. As vendors are selected they will likely work with local Print shops to obtain printing services such as banner printing and Logo Design to attract patrons walking through the market.
Menin’s hospitality director, Dennis Max, is making selections and he is also expecting many inquiries. He intends to capture a full range of diverse Menus. Currently there are plans to include vendors selling Korean barbeque, sushi, Peruvian food, and Caribbean cuisines. All-American items will also be available, which will include pizza and burgers.
The vendors will be located on the first floor which will also have seating available for diners. Space upstairs be available for patrons to enjoy a bar serving adult beverages and additional seating. Vendors will have access to cold storage areas in the basement. Lastly, a speakeasy bar is planned which will offer a relaxed atmosphere.
Delray City Market will be located at 33 S.E. 3rd Avenue. Developers hope to open the market in the Fall of 2020.
