Car organization to help Delray Beach charities

The Delray Beach Concours d'Elegance will host a fundraiser in April that supports numerous organizations in the community.

The Downtown Automotive Festival is an event where people view interesting cars and browse local vendors. The fest will raise money for five local organizations, including Delray Citizens for Delray Police, the Achievement Center for Children & Families, and The Charlie Fund. The event will take place at the Old School Square Great Lawn. Many activities will be held at the automotive fest, like an awards ceremony and live music performances.

The Delray Beach Concours d'Elegance is a car-focused organization founded by Max Zengage. He is a member of the City of Delray Public Art Advisory Board who wanted to support local nonprofits while caring for classic cars. The organization has created several community events, such as the Delray In White Garden Party and Downtown Delray Bed Races. The group is also partners with charities like the Community Classroom Project and Delray Firefighters Benevolent.

The automotive fest will be held on Sunday, April 21st from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Those interested in viewing the event can attend the car festival for free. People who want their vehicles to be part of the event must register by April 5th. Automotive organizations that hold festivals like this can use poster printing to advertise their shows.
