Yearly seasonal festival returns to Deerfield Beach

The 5th annual Fall Festival will be held again this year at Pioneer Park in Deerfield Beach. This year’s event is sponsored by JM Family Enterprises, Inc., Chick-fil-A, and Wawa.

As with years past, one of many children’s activities will be the opportunity to pick a pumpkin from the patch to take home and enjoy. There will also be face painting, hay rides, and photo zones to enhance the memorable moments the festival will provide.

Vendors will be on site and many will likely obtain banner printing services from Print shops to help draw attendees to their tents or booths. Along with food vendors, there will also be many arts and crafts specialists selling items that may be perfect for holiday gift giving. Applications are still being accepted for food, arts and business vendors, applications can be found on the city’s website.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a variety of live entertainment acts, including Corny Sue, Altered Roots, Uproot Hootenanny, and Hocus Pocus. The acts will take the stage at various times throughout the festival.

Pioneer Park is located at 217 NE 5th Avenue, and admission to the festival is free. The festival will be held on Saturday, October 16 from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Organizers will provide a free shuttle services for those parking at the Middle School Athletic complex. The shuttle will operate from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
