Womens business conference meets in Deerfield Beach area
Women in business can face unique challenges, and a South Florida organization is holding a one-day training in January to assist such leaders in the Deerfield Beach area.
The Florida Women’s Business Center has announced the 13th Women’s Business Conference to be held in late January. This year’s theme is “LeadHERship...Business Beyond Boundaries.” Attendees can expect to hear of topics particularly relevant to women in business, with an emphasis on practical, actionable solutions.
The Women’s Business Center provides a host of business services to assist women in Broward and Palm Beach counties. The organization conducts over 90 workshops per year on such topics as business plan writing, building business relationships, managing finances, and working with the Small Business Administration (SBA). In fact, the FWBC is funded in part from a grant from the SBA. The organization distinguished itself by receiving the Women’s Business Center of Excellence Award for the Southeast Region and the state of Florida in 2020.
The 13th annual Women’s Business Conference will be held on Thursday, January 29. The venue is the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach, located at 16700 Jog Road. The hours of the conference are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required and is available on the organization’s website. Flyer printing and other services from print shops are often used before and during business gatherings.
