A popular group will bring their renditions of classic blues and rock numbers to Deerfield Beach.
Big City Dogs are based in South Florida, and they play throughout the state, paying “tribute” to the best bands from the 1960s to today. The band has taken the stage at corporate and private events, big city concerts, and churches, as well as upscale clubs and sports bars.
The Big City Dogs are professional singers and musicians with years of experience performing in various bands. They bring classic songs to life, performing favorites from iconic outfits like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers, Joe Cocker, The Doobie Brothers, and The Rolling Stones. They also work with newer material from outfits like Hootie and the Blowfish and may even slip in a country song occasionally. No matter what they sing, they perform the rendition as close to the original as possible. Using poster printing is a great way to create exciting advertising about events like this.
Big City Dogs are currently Rick Smith, who hails from Sunrise, Florida, and handles vocals and lead guitar; Fort Lauderdale native John Crockett on bass guitar and vocals; Jake Luger on keyboards and vocals; and drummer/vocalist Mitch James, an “outsider” who was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Big City Dogs will be at Tailgators Sports Bar & Grille on Hillsboro Boulevard in Deerfield Beach on July 31 at 8.00 pm.
