Deerfield Beach is set to host the Florida Renaissance Festival as it celebrates its 33rd annual event.
The event promises an array of attractions, featuring over 100 crafters and more than 100 performers. Attendees will experience the bustling district of Kimmendale in a vibrant recreation of Renaissance life.
As visitors browse the marketplace, they will have the opportunity to try different foods and observe demonstrations of traditional crafts, including glassblowing, pewter work, and leather tooling. The market will also feature unique items such as wooden toys, pottery, and an extensive selection of festival memorabilia.
Performances will be taking place on and off the 12 stages throughout the village. The different types of performers will include swordfighters, magicians, and minstrels. Attendees can also look forward to daily jousting matches.
A variety of food will be available and adults will have the opportunity to visit pubs and opt for beverages, including meads, frozen cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic options.
The festival offers one-day access tickets at $37 for adults, $15 for children aged 6 to 11, and free entry for children 5 and under, there are also season passes priced at $148 for adults and $58 for children.
