A recently formed organization has announced an upcoming event.
ASTA SBN Chapter and the ASTA South Florida Chapter have now become the ASTA South Florida Chapter. The new organization is inviting everyone to its Spring Affair, which will be held at the Doubletree Deerfield Beach.
This annual event has brought together both travel agents and their supplier partners for a day of education, training, and networking. At the most recent meeting, more than 160 agents and over 70 travel supplier partners attended. Organizers expect this year’s conference to attract even more participants. Among the partners involved are American Airlines, RailEurope, and Crystal Cruises.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
• registration begins at 10.30 am
• luncheon from 11.00 am until 12.15 pm
• a presentation on tourism in Hawaii from 12.30 pm until 1.00 pm
• an American Airlines presentation from 1.00 pm until 1.30 pm
• a general session from 1.30 pm until 3.00 pm
• two separate panel discussions from 3.00 pm until 3.45 pm; and from 3.45 pm until 4.30 pm
After that, separate breakout sessions are scheduled. From 4.45 pm until 5.30 pm, there are sessions on AMA Waterways or ezBookPro; and from 5.45 pm until 6.30 pm, the sessions are on Club Med or Tourism Australia. The day ends with a reception and trade show from 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm. Events like this are the perfect place for attendees to exchange Business Cards.
The conference is set for June 24.
