This December, Painting with a Twist will hold the Twist Kids Holiday Camp for children and their parents to have fun painting alongside each other.
Painting with a Twist is a painting studio that hosts public and private painting events that typically include cocktails or wine, hence the “twist.” The venue provides all painting equipment and materials, while attendees provide their own snacks and drinks. Not just for adults, Painting with a Twist also runs the Twist Kids event series, with classes catered towards kids and their parents or guardians.
The Holiday Camp event will feature a selection of winter and holiday-themed painting outlines to choose from. Organizers encourage parents to paint alongside their children but not to help them or correct their painting. The class is designed to bring out the individual child’s creativity, so organizers instead recommend parents to encourage and applaud their child as they paint. Attendees will need to bring their own finger foods for themselves and their children, and should arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to get seated.
Organizers of painting events may utilize the services of local Print shops to stock up on paper-related materials needed for class instruction.
The holiday painting camp is scheduled for December 30 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The venue is located at 1185 S Federal Highway. Tickets are $55 per person.
