A five-day Floral Designer Workshop will be hosted in Deerfield Beach next month.
The Institute of Wedding and Event Design (IWED) created this comprehensive floral course for anyone who wishes to learn more about the industry, or to become a professional floral designer. Deerfield residents who attend this local event will receive all the necessary tools and materials needed to complete the course. Hosts of similar events often choose brochure printing to produce detailed handouts for students or interested individuals.
Day one of the course will focus on a general introduction to floral design. Day two will address proper techniques and tools needed to create ceiling drapings. Day three will center on how to create tabletop decor, table drapings, and centerpieces. With the combined skills of the previous days, day four will focus on creating a four-post canopy. On the fifth and final day, participants will be able to view guides and contract templates to receive an introduction to starting their own floral businesses.

The Floral Designer Workshop is scheduled to take place at The Institute of Wedding and Event Design from Monday, December 14 to Friday, December 18. Each workshop will last from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on all five days.
