School of Rock music school in Boca Raton will hold the music camp Indie Palooza Summer 2022 this July for kids in Deerfield Beach and other surrounding areas.
School of Rock is an expansive music school that has locations all over the world. The school offers performance-based learning and is designed for all ages and skill levels. Various workshops and camps are organized for students according to different themes and music styles, such as 80s’ Rock Camp, The Beatles Camp, and next month’s camp, Indie Palooza.
Indie Palooza will be a five-day camp in which students will learn about the compositions of prominent indie and alternative artists of the last 60 years. The camp will be geared towards ages 7 to 17 and those with some previous music instruction. The students will analyze songs from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Paramore, and Imagine Dragons. After rehearsing these songs, the students will then participate in a live performance at the end of the camp.
Summer camps are often advertised in schools, libraries, and youth centers through flyer distribution, which can be completed using local flyer printing services.
The music camp is scheduled for July 18 through July 22. It will take place at School of Rock on 141 Northwest 20th Street, Boca Raton. Camp registration is $399.
