A unique music and beer-sampling event is brewing for Deerfield Beach.
The 8th Annual Ocean Brews & Blues Beer Fest is slated for mid-May and is part of Deerfield Beach’s 100th Birthday Bash. Over 150 craft beer varieties will be available for sampling, but to add to the fun, a number of blues music artists will be providing entertainment, and attractions also include local arts and craft vendors, as well as a variety of food offerings. Some of the local artists scheduled to perform are Adam Uhlan, Lowground Trio, and Shaw Davis and the Black Ties.
Craft beer tasting tickets are available for purchase now. The general admission rate is $55 in advance and $65 on the day of the event. Patrons with VIP passes have special privileges, including getting access to the event an hour early, special craft beers only for VIPs, a souvenir glass, and food samples from local chefs. VIP tickets are expected to sell out on the day of the event and are priced at $100.
The Brews and Blues Beer Fest will be held on Saturday, May 17, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The venue is the Main Beach parking lot at 149 SE 21st Avenue. Patrons organizing events such as this one can publicize their events by using poster printing from area Print shops.
