Beer run brings good vibes to Deerfield Beach area
Next month in Pompano Beach, just minutes from Deerfield Beach, 26 Degree Brewing will host the 5k Beer Run x 26 Degree Brewing as part of the 2024 Florida Brewery Running Series.
The 2024 Florida Brewery Running Series is a series of casual 5Ks along fun-run courses that all end and begin at various local breweries. The purpose of these runs is to encourage people to get active by participating in fun events that combine exercise with social activities, as well as to raise money for local nonprofits. All the 5K fun runs will donate a portion of the proceeds to different charities, with the upcoming run to donate 10 percent of ticket sales.
The 26 Degrees 5K will take participants through a scenic route weaving through beautiful landscapes to finish at the brewery itself. Participants are welcome to walk, jog, or run, depending on their personal fitness and comfort levels. Ticket purchases include access to event festivities, a complimentary craft brew, chances to win fun prizes, and a choice of a seasonal swag item from the Brewery Runing Series or a collector’s pint glass with a specially engraved logo design on it.
The 5K will take place on Saturday, February 10, beginning at 10:00am. 26 Degree Brewing Company is located at 2600 East Atlantic Boulevard, Pompano Beach, only six miles from Deerfield Beach. Regular tickets are priced at $35.
