Coral Springs food and wine aficionados can mark their Calendars again, now that the second annual Greater Fort Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival has been rescheduled for August.
Over 100 local chefs, restaurants, wineries, and breweries band together to create five days of feasting, with all proceeds going to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
In downtown Fort Lauderdale, Sistrunk Marketplace will open the gala with “A Spirited Affair,” a Cocktail Confidential, on August 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The new venue will offer three signature cocktails.
On August 8, Ocean View Terrace at the Atlantic Hotel and Spa will present its GFL on the Rise. This will be “an elevated culinary experience” as guests dine sample bites created by local culinary stars while enjoying a 180-degree view of the ocean. Palm Beach Autographs will hold a silent experience and memorabilia auction.
The final festivities will take place in Artspark Hollywood, 1 N Young Circle from noon to 5:00 pm as families are invited to bring blankets, chairs to sit on, and toys for a toy drive. There will be culinary and non-culinary activities for the kids, live entertainment, and plenty of food trucks and beverage bars.
Adults can attend the Grand Tasting that will be four hours of unlimited beverages and food bites, commemorative glasses touting the event logo design, and cooking demonstrations.
This year’s Greater Fort Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival will take place from August 5 through 9.
