Coral Springs ready for annual address and concert

Coral Springs residents are invited to the 2026 State of the City address and Community Concert next weekend.

The State of the City address will begin with Mayor Scott Brook and other city officials giving updates on the city's 2025 achievements and plans for the new year.

After the address, the lawn will become an outdoor concert event with young talent from the School of Rock opening for Absolute Queen, a Queen tribute band. The evening will include face painting, a photo booth, arts and crafts, and food trucks. Tribute bands like this often get logo design companies to create a design to be printed on fan merchandise.

Guests are encouraged to lawn chairs and blankets, with a water station also available to refill bottles. The City Hall garage will be available for free parking, with an option to leave vehicles in the garage overnight and take a rideshare service. This event will be dog-friendly, provided all dogs are leashed and under control.

Sponsorships are available starting at the $500 Arts and Crafts level, with other levels being $1,000 Activity and Dance Floor, $2,500 Charging Station, $2,500 Photo Booth, $3,000 Beverage and $10,000 Concert.

This year's State of the City address and Community Concert has been scheduled for Saturday, February 7, from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm at City Hall Grand Lawn, 9500 W. Sample Road.
