Downtown Coral Springs will be exuding holiday cheer with lights and entertainment and residents will be decorating their lawns beginning in early December.
The City Hall Lawn will be all aglow with lighted displays beginning December 1. The actual Light up the Lawn celebration will be Saturday, December 7 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. If it is anything like last year, everyone will get to enjoy a lighting ceremony, snow zone, snack vendors, free cookies, and a stuffed animal giveaway.
Magical Memories: A Ride Down Memory Lane will be the theme for this year's Holiday Parade coming December 11. The parade will run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. As in past years, the route will be along Sample Road.
Bands and other holiday parade entries often arrange banner printing in November so they can have colorful Banners preceding them, introducing them to the crowds in December.
Attendees will have an opportunity to shop for those hard-to-buy-for relatives in a special holiday market taking place on Saturday, December 14 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interested vendors will need to get their applications in as soon as possible.
The traditional Deck the Halls contest will be returning this year. Judging will be based on most traditional display, creative theme, best neighborhood collaboration, use of inflatables, and technology. Winners will have lawn Signs displayed during the holidays.
