Lamar Jackson will be coming to Mullins Park for two days of events over a weekend in mid-July.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback will not be giving autographs, photo ops, or other social media live opportunities, as he will be spending all his time interacting with the children.
The weekend will begin with Fun-Day with LJ! Kids can enjoy train rides, go-karts, rock climbing, and water slides. The first 500 kids over three years old can get their choice of one free food item such as nachos, fried Oreos, cotton candy, snow cones, funnel cake, or popcorn.
Fun-Day with LJ! will be at Mullins Park, 10000 NW 29th Street on Saturday, July 10 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Although the event will be free, all attendees must pre-register on the event’s Eventbrite website beforehand.
On Sunday, July 11, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Lamar Jackson’s Forever Dreamers 1st Annual 7vs7 Tournament will take place. Boys’ football team divisions will be ages 12 and up, 14 and up, 15 and up, and varsity, while varsity girls will have their own division. The first eight teams in each division to register will be in the tournament automatically.
Teams must sign up on Eventbrite and cost per team will be $300, with a $100 deposit due by July 1.
Teams at tournaments such as this that do not already have matching uniforms usually get some made with the group’s graphic or logo design.
