Coral Springs holds two golf invitationals

The Dixie Amateur 2019 Men’s Invitational and the Dixie Senior & Mid-Master 2019 Invitational will be held in December.

The Dixie Amateur 2019 Men’s Invitational will be a three-day tournament open to former Dixie Amateur, invitees, champions, and major amateur championship qualifiers. The championship will be 72-hole stroke play. The tournament will begin with a 54-hole cut that will whittle the field of approximately 120 players down to 72. The tournament will take place at the Eagle Trace Golf Club, 1111 Eagle Trace Boulevard, from December 17 through 20.

Regular fees will be $470. Each entry fee value package ($730) will include unlimited practice rounds for two days, and unlimited range balls for seven. Lunch will be included for four days.

Earlier in the week from Tuesday, December 10 through December 12, the older players will participate in the Dixie Senior & Mid-master 2019 Invitational. New this year, the Dixie Senior Invitational will add the Mid-master division.

Now, the tournament will comprise the original Senior Division for men ages 55 to 64, over 64 Super Senior Division, and the Mid-masters for the 40 to 54 age group. The tournament will be played over 54 holes in a stroke play format, and the final round will begin with a shotgun start. This event will also be at the Eagle Trace Golf Course.
