During February, Coral Springs Center for the Arts, 2855 Coral Springs Drive, will present a series of original and tribute bands.
On Saturday, February 8 at 8:00 pm, the center will present Tapestry – A Tribute to Carole King. Jeannie Austin and her band will pay tribute to one of the most revered and successful singer/songwriters of all time. The evening will be reminiscent of King’s concerts with songs such as ‘One Fine Day,’ ‘It’s Too Late,’ and ‘Beautiful.’
The Jersey Boys will bring the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to Coral Springs on February 13. This will be a night of songs such as ‘Can’t Take My Eyes off of You,’ ‘Walk Like A Man,’ and ‘Sherry.
On February 16, beginning at 7:30 pm, Abba Mania will take the stage with two hours of songs from the Swedish ‘Supergroup’. The audience will get to experience songs like ‘Dancing Queen,’ ‘Mamma Mia,’ and ‘Fernando.’
The Beach Boys led by Bruce Johnston and Mike Love will be in concert on the 21st at 7:30 pm.
Ending the month on February 28, starting at 8:00 pm, Russ Anderson will present The Rocket Man Show with a tribute to Elton John. Anderson will recreate the iconic musician in his youth with ferocious piano playing, hauntingly accurate vocals, and ostentatious costumes.
