Sommer Sports is presenting its 37th AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Series running event.
The AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Series offers intermediate and sprint distance triathlons, intermediate aqua bike and fun sprint mini triathlons, a sprint duathlon and a 5K run/walk. Swag will include race-specific T-Shirts or tank tops sporting the specific race’s themed graphic design, and finisher medals.
Awards will go to the top three overall, masters and each female and male division winners in the triathlons, 5K and Spring Relay teams. Awards will also be presented to the top five overall winners in the Duathlon and Aquabike.
All races in the series are run on the same course, allowing repeating participants to work on their times.
The first race was on June 11, and Summer Salute on July 9 will be the second race of the AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Series. That event will be followed by Summer Vacation on August 13, and Summer of Love on September 10.
Packets for the Summer Salute race will be available Friday, July 8 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and from 5:30 am to 7:00 am on race day at Clermont Waterfront Park’s Highlander Building, 100 3rd Street.
The transition area opens at 5:30 am, and the 5K will start at 7:00 am. The Clermont Sprint Triathlon waves will begin at 7:32 am, and awards may be claimed from 9:00 am to noon.
Summer Salute will take place at Clermont Waterfront Park.
