The Florida Citrus Tower here in Clermont will be presenting Orange Crush 70th Anniversary celebrating the tower's 1956 origins in mid-June.
Elevator rides to the top of the tower will be free. Raffle tickets will be $25, $20, $10, and $1 with multiple prizes at each level. Money collected from raffles will go to replacing the Citrus Tower roof and back building. A six-hour vendor fair will be filled with local artisans, small businesses, food, and specialty products vendors. Uncle Matt's will be passing out fresh, local orange juice samples. Kids' activities will include rock climbing, a barrel train, water slides, jumping castles and treats.
Live music will be sung in Spanish, Hebrew, and of course English. The band will be Torah Rap. Other entertainment will be the STBM Kolbo Dance Team.
Orange Crush is also holding a Citrus Tower coloring contest for ages six and under, seven through twelve, and thirteen and older. The coloring page may be downloaded from the event website and colored at home, or may be obtained at the event. All entries must be turned in at the Coloring Contest table at the event before closing time.
Vendor and sponsorships are still available at the time of writing. Vendors at events like this usually get their Business Cards and paper products printed at local Print shops in advance.
The Florida Citrus Tower's Orange Crush 70th Anniversary celebration will take place on Sunday, June 14th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Citrus Tower, 145 N Highway 27.
